A life’s lesson taught

Taking things and more importantly people for granted is something I think we are all guilty of at some point in our lives. Perhaps a loved one or parent, close friend or even work colleagues. We tend to get so wrapped up in our own lives and work and achievments that we actually forget why we do all this, we work hard, earn money and do our best to allow us to spend the time remaining with the people we love. What happens when you forget about these people though?

I have recentley purchased a huge TV, it gave me some pleasure. I recentley ordered a new PC, it gave me some pleasure. I have just bought a new bed, again, some pleasure. But what is the point of all these trinkets and removable objects in our life if we have no one to share them with? We think we know it all, and think we’re impenatrable to any kind of pain, or that we are able to get through it. In actually matter of fact though, we cant.

Dont ever forget the people that make you happy. That happiness from knowing someone loves you cannot be bought, cannot be exchanged or put on hold,  and it requires work. Forget it, abuse it, take it for granted or leave it alone and like a plant, it will die. Slowly, but die all the same.
